Course details:

This course is recommended for students who want to build their career in the field of international business operations or want to be involved in Import and/or Export of goods/services. The potential career options could be Export Manager, Import Manager or Trade Manager.

This course focuses on the various strategies involved in moving into overseas markets and the methods utilised in engaging in overseas business. The diploma of International Business will open careers in the operational, frontline, middle management and supervisory roles of all business and commercial ventures. Specifically the international trade/service areas of shipping, marketing, freight, forwarding and customs.

This qualification provides business owners and employees with the practical knowledge needed to succeed on the international stage, delivered by teachers with current industry skill. The course will also enhance students understanding of international trade and finance, market segmentation and analysis, strategic planning and forecasting. Graduates of this course will be sought after as entry level managers by any firm that is internationally active and the institutions they collaborate with, including exporters, global consumers, manufacturers, financial service providers and travel and tourism operators.
